How can KFC ask for this? "The company, in the suit filed Monday, also wants U.S. District Judge John G. Heyburn of Louisville to issue an order that KFC cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by the cups that combusted." If they bought the containers and sold them to us, then they are just as responsible as the packaging company. Let them sue the packaging company, but KFC should have to pay consumers who are injured or lose their property by fire if the chicken goes up in flame.
